Overview:
At Qulture, the Senior Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role leading our prestige global brands into the near future, collaborating closely with the team to create brag-worthy work. The ideal candidate has deep experience and interest in marketing, digital and a passion for understanding the consumer with a mind that likes to solve problems and uncover new opportunities for brands.
This is a senior level position for someone with 8+ years of prior experience.
Responsibilities:
· Gather data using digital tools, desktop research and/or industry reports to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans and recommendations.
· Create strategic recommendations including but not limited to white space anaylsis, target audience profiles, consumer journeys, go-to-market recommendations, campaign roll-out plans, and channel strategy.
· Inspire inventive and on-brand ideas together with other members of the creative team
· Build and write compelling client-facing decks that express ideas and findings clearly and effectively adaptive from C-level to junior level audiences.
· Analyze a brand and or industry to uncover opportunities for growth, creating client-ready analysis presentations
· Report on and track KPI’s in order to create performance reports for campaigns that include a combination of hard data, key takeaways and optimization recommendations.
· Agency liason with key platforms, partners and vendors that contribute to the growth and expertise of the agency (i.e. TikTok, Meta, Google, IPSOS…etc).
· Participate in new business pitches with strategic ideas and brand insights to help win new clients.
· Provide thought leadership and insights into innovation & emerging platforms as well as macro and micro trends across social and digital to clients and to the agency.
· Contribute to the agency newsletter by writing thought-leadership short-form articles geared towards a C-suite audience as well as provide input when press reaches out for comments, as needed.
· Oversee and manage freelance strategists, when needed.
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience in an advertising agency, digital marketing agency and/or consulting environment
· Confident with marketing research tools like Rival IQ, Synthesio, Profiler, Brandwatch, Google Analytics and/or similar platforms
· Exceptional writing skills and an interest in writing about digital thought leadership in articles that may get published in the agency newsletter to a C-level audience
· Expert in best practices for digital and traditional marketing and proactively keeps up with trends and important changes, with an emphasis on digital and social media
· Experience and interest in fashion, luxury, beauty and consumer tech categories
· Able to work across a number of projects, appropriately prioritizing and balancing work load to meet deadlines
· Able to work well both alone and in a team setting
· Proactive in putting forth own ideas
· Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with clients, supervisor and peers
This is a 100% remote position with typical business hours from 9:30AM to 6PM EST.
Rate: commesurate based on experience & competitive within the salary range for this job based on your location
