About the role
The Associate Director, Learning and Development, will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs and initiatives that align with company goals, strategies, and values. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to identify learning needs, create engaging learning experiences, and measure program effectiveness.
Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and HR to diagnose needs, design programs, and deliver learning solutions.
- Conceptualize and create visually engaging and impactful learning materials including presentations in PowerPoint, videos, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Manage learning projects from needs assessment through implementation and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
- Curate content for and oversee the production of monthly learning and development newsletter.
- Track and report on learning program participation, completion rates, and efficacy.
- Stay current on trends and innovations in corporate learning and development.
- Perform administrative duties related to learning programs and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience developing and facilitating training programs
- Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and principles
- Creative ability to turn concepts into impactful visuals and learning experiences
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Apple Keynote
- Experience launching learning management systems
