The Marketing and Communications Intern plays a crucial role in contributing to the company's marketing initiatives, enhancing online presence, and facilitating internal communication.
This is a part-time hybrid position.
Position Overview
As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will actively participate in creating marketing materials, managing digital assets, coordinating the company newsletter, and supporting the maintenance and redesign of our website. Your efforts will contribute to elevating our brand's identity, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering seamless communication between corporate divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the leadership to develop visually appealing digital and print marketing materials.
- Contribute to the management of our company webpage, including content updates and redesign efforts.
- Coordinate the company newsletter by gathering content, designing layouts, and managing distribution.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the website redesign project, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather insights and content for marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to social media content creation, aligning with our marketing strategies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and team discussions to share ideas and insights.
- Support proposal graphics projects as needed to ensure overall team success.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing bachelors degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent software.
- Basic understanding of web design principles, HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and gathering newsletter content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills for generating innovative marketing solutions.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design and web projects is encouraged.
