What You Will Do
- Supervise the completion of the expense process for the 1940 Act Mutual Funds, Collective Trusts and Separately Managed Accounts including the calculation of expense ratios, accrual analysis, allocation of invoices, review of monthly expenditures and profitability calculations.
- Review board reports prepared by staff and assist in the review of Shareholder reports (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual).
- Monitor department workflow and accounting system processes to
- Ensure they are effective and efficient in meeting deadlines. Responsible for making changes to or redirecting processes as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Supervise staff, including work distribution, establishment of deadlines, recruiting and training, conducting performance appraisals, and recommending salary increases and promotions.
- Assist in the preparation of investment portion of 15C filing. Assist with drafting policies and procedures.
- Respond to audit requests from external auditors, regulators and/or SEC examiners.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business degree. In lieu of a degree, and additional four years of work experience may be accepted.
- 6+ years of board reporting experience and/or mutual fund expenses-related
- experience required.
- Strong Knowledge of 1940 Act registered investment companies reporting requirements.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Detail-oriented.
What Will Set You Apart
- Knowledge of investment systems and/or RevPort a plus.
- Knowledge of investments preferred.
- 2 years Supervisory Experience preferred.

Base Salary Range
$95,100.00 - $134,325.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
