We're a venture-backed startup on a journey to change how online engagement happens through meaningful, first-party content. Our founders came from the media industry, building a national network of local email newsletters, and spun out Letterhead in 2022 to help every organization master email.

About The Role
The Content Manager is the lead storyteller of our brand and the key to our audience's heart. You'll be crafting Letterhead's vision, internal stories, and market insights into content that doesn't just inform but inspires. Your voice will help solidify Letterhead's place as a vanguard of email newsletter expertise.
What You'll Do
Strategic Content Development:
- Strategy & Newsletter Growth: Lead our content strategy and oversee the growth of our email newsletter brand, Media Mentions, aligning with business objectives and market shifts.
- Content Creation: Regularly craft impactful articles, whitepapers, and special projects that resonate with our target audience.
- Analytics-Driven Refinement: Evaluate content performance and pivot strategies based on insights and feedback.
Collaboration & Integration
- Marketing Synergy: Collaborate with the Lead Generation specialist, ensuring content bolsters our marketing campaigns. Schedule sync-ups with sales, product, and marketing teams to integrate content with company-wide initiatives.
- Multimedia Initiatives: Propose multimedia content concepts, repurpose content for various platforms, and work with the marketing team for effective execution.
Brand Consistency & Outreach
- Brand Voice Maintenance: Uphold and advocate for a consistent brand voice across all content mediums.
- Editorial Management: Supervise the editorial process, ensuring content coherence with our brand essence and making pertinent revisions.
- Social Media Engagement: Strategically design and deploy posts across platforms, enhancing our brand presence and nurturing community growth.
Events & External Engagements
- Event Participation: Offer crucial content backing for conferences and major events, ensuring Letterhead's message is pronounced and impactful to our audience.
Qualifications- Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in brand building and lead conversion strategies within SaaS environments.
- Content Management & Strategy: Proficiency in content planning, creation, and dissemination. Experience in leveraging content for lead generation and nurturing.
- Tech-Savviness:
- Marketing Automation & CRM: Expertise in HubSpot for content management, marketing automation, and CRM functionalities.
- Design & Multimedia: Skilled in using Canva and Adobe Suite for content design and multimedia creation.
- Productivity & Collaboration: Adeptness in Google Office Suite and Slack for efficient workflow management and team communication.
- AI & Advanced Tools: Proficiency in ChatGPT with an understanding of other AI tools, showcasing a forward-thinking approach to content creation and strategy.
- Analytical Abilities: Experience in utilizing analytics to refine content strategies and drive improved engagement and conversions.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
Compensation
- Salary range of $65,000-$85,000 with growth potential in our rapidly expanding startup.
