Position Summary
Salary Range:$58,000 - $68,000
This position will, track staffing for a department with over 200 full time positions and 200 part time. Track and report labor hours worked against budgeted hours per building. Audit department work loading and maintain work loading and job card database. Utilizing appropriate business and facilities software. Coordinate and assemble weekly employee newsletter. Oversee the department Quality Assurance program, primarily staffed by student employees. Collect and present building inspection reports. Primary administrative support for Business Leader and managers. Reconcile department budget. Provide quality data for managers to make decisions
Regular attendance is required to meet business and customer needs.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a business-related field, human resources, a related social science field, or in a field related to the operations of the department of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a human resources function or an area related to departmental operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or business-related field; experience higher education operations; experience with hiring procedures; experience with work order management systems (such as FAMIS or a Facilities Asset Management Software); knowledge of facilities operations (such as Custodial Services Department and/or Building Services); proficient experience in Microsoft Office 365; ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining composed in a fast-paced work environment; excellent communication skills (verbal and written); established problem solving skills; good customer relations/service skills; ability to work as an effective member of a team; ability to handle confidential material with complete discretion; self-starter who possesses good decision making skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
