Employment Type: Full-Time
Flexibility: Culture, Hybrid (Wednesdays in office in Arlington, VA)
Pay: $75,000 - 95,000, includes bonus pay

Job Description
The Membership Experience Manager plays a key role in supporting the membership function in partnership with the Director of Membership and the Membership Experience Coordinator. Every day is different in this role! This dynamic role is client-facing and offers a customer service oriented professional the opportunity to interact with members (C-suite to managers) regularly. This position oversees key functions such as the membership renewal process, actively supports the recruitment and engagement processes and provides an opportunity to collaborate across the organization on special projects that advance the membership experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide a high level of customer service to develop strong relationships with members, prospective members and strategic partners;
• Perform direct sales by phone, email and direct mail to new member prospects and renewal candidates;
• Manage and execute the membership renewal process with support from the Member Experience Coordinator;
• Research and apply membership association best practices, and industry research to implement innovative recruitment/retention strategies;
• Collaborate with the Director of Membership and the Marketing/Communications team to develop marketing and implementation plans for membership initiatives, membership collateral and ensure that member resources and benefits are clearly presented through print and digital channels;
• Analyze membership data and provide reports on recruitment, retention, benefit usage and demographics and engagement;
• Manage new member orientation program;
• Manage booth and membership engagement activities at trade show and other events
• Responsible for membership-related data upkeep in Salesforce Nimble database account to construct member recruitment/retention activities, dashboards and reports;
• Create content for monthly prospective newsletter and targeted outreach to key prospective members;
• Assist the Director of Membership with management of and communications with organization Board Membership Committee; and
• Assist with implementation of strategies to increase non-dues revenue and manage strategic partners including tracking monthly royalties for the Affinity Program based on the goals of the program.
Qualifications
• Experience in an association membership-related role required
• Trade association experience is a plus
• Experience in Nimble AMS and HubSpot CRM a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Project management and operational expertise
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Experience in customer-service setting
• Ability to adapt and be a team player
• Self-starter
