Marketing Associate

The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting growth of the product portfolio through effective planning, marketing program and communication development and execution. This includes assisting in the execution of an annual product marketing communication plan, demand creation (advertising/tradeshow) activities, packaging management and flawless launch of product introductions. This candidate will have experience managing multiple projects at once, and the ability to work cross functionally in order to adhere to strict deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity to support our bicycle lock brands.

What You Will Do

Support all product packaging, insert/instruction development and execution. Work, with graphic designers and vendors to create packaging structures, apply design and key messaging to ensure a successful presentation at retail. v
Perform light graphic design edits within existing templates and artwork to create updated assets and packaging elements.
Own asset organization and support eCommerce Manager with effective deployment.
Manage advertising calendar, and asset delivery in a timely manner.
Assists in the execution of new product introduction efforts within channel including collateral development, merchandising procurement, training tools and execution
Assists in developing, executing, and distributing marketing communication tools such as POP, displays, collateral, and promotional items
Assist with yearly advertising planning and negotiations
Manages logistics of tradeshows and events including product and booth delivery and acts as liaison between tradeshow and Global Marketing Manager.
Understand target audience(s) key needs / desires and purchase behavior.
Manage social media calendar and assist in creation and distribution of social media content, and then reporting KPIs. Understand how the brand can be represented on new platforms and as existing channels evolve. Work with eCommerce manager to understand how to drive sales through SM channels.
Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and ROI.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities within channel(s) including price, promotion, new products and merchandising.
Work closely with the sales team to distribute collateral and POP in a timely manner.
Manage Google Ads campaigns to build brand awareness and support sell out.
Build newsletter communications with associated branding assets.
Support video and photography needs.
Website content ownership and authoring.

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor's degree required.
2 years of experience required
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a variety of projects concurrently, especially in a demanding environment, under tight deadlines. Ability to prioritize workload to align with business needs.
Self-motivated and use of initiative.
Strong written and oral communications skills; fluency in written and conversational English.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and influencing skills at all levels in the organization.
Fluent in current social media platforms, with an eye for, and willingness to adopt to emerging platforms.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels of the organization and to interact confidently with senior management.
Project planning and project management skills essential.
High energy and enthusiasm.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Working knowledge of Adobe applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and CQ5.
Ability to travel 10-20%
