Summary: The Analyst, Performance Excellence will support the team in guiding the collaborative development, implementation, and internal promotion of ASTHO’s organizational content strategy and capacity building/technical assistance (CB/TA) framework.
Location: Remote
Anticipated salary: $63,000
Extended experience: up to $70,500 if experience exceeds expectations
Principal Functions
- Lead internal promotion of staff capacity building products, including developing a monthly, internal newsletter and monthly internal presentation of upcoming offerings
- Develop quarterly reports on planned capacity building and technical assistance offerings in collaboration with ASTHO’s cross-functional teams
- Support the development of ASTHO’s content strategy and organizational content calendar
- Monitor ASTHO’s capacity building product (issue briefs, reports, blogs, webinars, podcasts) development processes and follow up with programmatic and cross-functional teams as appropriate
- Lead quarterly content audits of ASTHO capacity building products to guide the innovation of ASTHO’s CB/TA framework
- Analyze capacity building product development timelines and product alignment with ASTHO’s strategic priorities
- Support the development and adoption of standards around key ASTHO capacity building activities
- Build and develop relationships across ASTHO teams and provide internal technical assistance for staff seeking guidance on product development processes, project management, and knowledge management
- Support the Performance Excellence team’s role as a liaison across program and cross-functional areas
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, communications, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Project management experience and/or knowledge of communications and content development preferred
- Experience working for or with state/territorial or local health agencies, public health and/or membership associations preferred
- Ability to translate and disseminate information to various groups and audiences, including exceptional writing ability
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills necessary to work and communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues, partners, funders, and members
- Ability to think critically and creatively about complex systems, and exercise sound judgment and empathy in recommending and implementing solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience in Monday.com or similar project management platforms preferred
