Purpose
Performs a range of administrative support duties for the Business Office. Supports Human Resources with administrative tasks, including those that may involve confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Receives visitors and telephone calls ensuring these individuals are directed to the proper parties within the dealership
- Prepares bank deposits and balances cash receipts
- Records standard accounts payable and accounts receivable entries on a daily and monthly basis
- Provides administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments
- Reconciles credit card, cash and financing accounts
- Organizes and maintains employee personnel/health records
- Assists with payroll processing and related tasks
- Updates internal databases & tracks/administers paperwork for employee leaves (FMLA, short term disability etc)
- Assists with new hire onboarding tasks and termination tasks
- Assists with recruiting functions (conducts candidate filtering, completes initial phone screens and manages job postings)
- Arranges travel accommodations for training (booking hotel rooms, coordinating cars, and making the training outline)
- Prepares and disseminates HR documents (open enrollment documents, new hire documents etc)
- Tracks and records employee completion of necessary company documents
- Authors quarterly newsletter
- Reconciles applicable vendor invoices and makes appropriate employee additions or deductions
- Participates in specialized HR projects as needed

Experience, Education, Skills And Knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- High level of attention to accuracy
- Proficient in use of standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google G Suite, and internet functions
- Clerical expertise & experience with using business system applications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Compensation: From $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
