Job Description
Summer 2024 Internship Program:

- Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
- Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.
- Format: Opportunities listed will be fully virtual.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
- Entertainment Culture & DEI: This role will sit with the Culture + DEI team, working to help foster a cohesive company culture across the 7 Entertainment Networks with a focus on inclusion. Projects and responsibilities may include brainstorming culture and employee engagement programming, building out monthly culture newsletter, including content, copy, and design, tracking event and communication metrics (i.e., event attendance + sentiments, eblast CTR + opens, etc.), researching content for culture newsletters and ensuring content is appropriate and relevant to our audience.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
- Must be working from a location within a U.S. state during all hours worked.
Desired Characteristics
- Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong interest in the media industry.
- Ability to multitask and highly organized.
- Interest in employee events, engagement initiatives, metrics tracking/analytics; Staying informed with Employee Resource Groups, cultural events, and corporate news.
- Project Management skills; ability to see a project through from beginning to end.
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop or InDesign a plus.
- Attention to detail; Ensuring the corporate content produced is of high quality/clean/organized.
- Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Psychology, or related field.
The hourly rate for student interns is $17.00
