The role of Content Marketing Coordinator at Wendover involves collaborating closely with the and implementing Marketing and company growth strategies. The Marketing Content Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all customer-facing content aligns with our Core Values and Vision. This requires the coordinator to possess strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a positive spirit. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be a fast learner with a growth mindset and must exhibit a deep commitment to One Wendover, especially since the Marketing department plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers (both current and prospective), Team Members, Vendor Partners, and Artists are all aware of Wendover's 12 elements of Superior Value.

The Content Marketing Coordinator must have a strong interest in marketing tactics, particularly in email, social media, and digital media channels. The Content Marketing Coordinator must also possess a solid understanding of Wendover's business fundamentals and how marketing contributes to our objective of building the Best Art Company in the World. Additionally, The Content Marketing Coordinator needs to be well-versed in marketing fundamentals, possess an innovative mindset, demonstrate an unwavering commitment to producing excellent content, and have a keen interest in the Interior Design industry. The successful candidate must be a relationship builder, both internally and externally, and engage with our customers to develop lead-generation avenues for all verticals that Marketing supports. Since marketing impacts every area of the business, the coordinator must be mindful of this when making decisions. The Content Marketing Coordinator will assist in the overall Marketing strategy for Wendover, focusing on exceptional storytelling, brand voice, brand writing, and social marketing skills, with a proven ability to develop content that extends beyond just a single social post.

The role of the Content Marketing Coordinator requires a results-driven approach, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively and strive towards continuous improvement every 90 days. They should be able to provide creative solutions while staying within budget.

The following are the Content Marketing Coordinator's primary responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Create content strategies following brand and company guidelines.

o Develop, produce, and deliver social media content across all channels to drive organic reach and customer engagement.

o Content development is not limited to one category as it will cross from residential to commercial, trend to press releases and cross-company development.

o Manage social and digital editorial calendars for the creation of fresh content that fulfills the objectives of marketing and sales-driven marketing strategies.

o Ideate and facilitate creative asset production (provide asset specs, attend to briefing meetings, etc.), launches (copywriting and scheduling), and social optimization.

o Develop our UGC and photo advocacy platform strategy while finding new ways to "level up" our marketing efforts to generate leads and engage current audiences and team members.

o Create a content repurposing process to ensure proper formatting, context, and delivery for each digital media channel.

o Collaborate with Brand and Digital Marketing team members to develop marketing campaigns that help achieve sales-specific marketing goals.

o Develop and communicate weekly and monthly social media reporting analysis and recommendations for improved future content performance.

o Continually develop the best ways to optimize our content by contributing fresh ideas.

o Collaborate with the creative team to ensure needs are captured in advance for all photoshoots and provide insight, recommendations, and data to the creative team to support optimized creative concepts.

o Keep abreast of current best practices and social platform changes while continually learning how to optimize our content and grow our channels.

o Recommend, implement, and refine strategies that promote effective social and digital content delivery.

o Update storytelling pages on the website with curated content.

o Proactively manage day-to-day messaging; update and manage company blog, e-newsletter, and social media.

o This position will eventually involve managing email, organizing stories, video, photography, and communication as needed.

o Identify opportunities for media and press coverage.

o Assist in establishing and monitoring ROI and KPIs.

o Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics, and compile forecasting reports.

o Identify and analyze competitors.

o Develop strategies to improve existing and past marketing efforts.

o Help to foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk-taking, innovation, and creativity.

o Must be available to travel as requested, which includes weekend travel.

o Knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in digital media creation, platforms, and consumption.

o Innovative mindset with an unwavering commitment to creating excellent content.

o Strong decision-making, time management, and planning skills.

o Exceptional storytelling, brand voice, brand writing, and social marketing skills with a proven ability to develop content that goes beyond a singular social post.

o Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to direct storytelling across multiple media, including general posts, branded copy, video, etc.

o Strong track record of delivering results and producing thoughtful, creative ideas.

o High energy, "can-do" personality, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

o Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; Advanced Degree is a plus.
  • Prefer a graphic designer with strong composition and content development experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • A self-motivated, energetic, passionate, team-oriented personality and working style.
  • Ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing technology.
  • Experience with storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office programs
