JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager works with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that include print, direct mail, radio, video production, events, digital marketing, emails (sent via Salesforce), and social media based on designated timelines and budgets.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • Master’s degree preferred


Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing or ad agency setting required
  • Salesforce email implementation and healthcare experience preferred


Prerequisite Skills

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Salesforce, and Constant Contact required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL (not Modifiable)

  • Works with and directs the activities of various stakeholders and outside contractors using professional discretion and independent judgment
  • Co-manages hospital website content with the Digital Assets Manager to align content with approved messaging and promotional campaigns. Obtains necessary approvals from physicians and service line stakeholders. Works with the marketing team and professional agencies to develop ads, brochures, flyers, posters, emails, and direct mail pieces that support the promotion of specific services offered by the Hospital and its affiliated clinics; coordinates production of marketing-related materials.
  • Works with the marketing and recruiting team to onboard physicians and advanced practice providers to onboard physicians. This may include print, direct mail, email marketing, screensavers, podcasts, social media and other tactics as deemed appropriate depending on the specialty and clinic.
  • Manages public relations for designated service lines, including writing press releases showcasing the service
  • Ensures all communication meets the outlined messaging, graphics, and brand standards.
  • Supports the team in creating communications, planning and participating in community events, and writing and editing press releases and newsletter announcements.
  • Tracks and reports on all marketing and promotions efforts to ensure better decision-making and understanding of the ROI on all marketing and promotions activities.

  • Superior time management, project management, organizational and communications skills, and ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other employees in support of communications initiatives.
  • Creative, strong communications, planning, and implementation skills, including the ability to direct and review all creative and editorial work associated with the marketing of service lines.
  • High verbal and written communication skills, ability to present and propose ideas effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses.

The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on the individual’s skills, experience, internal/market equity factors, and qualifications. This posted minimum and maximum range represents the minimum and maximum of what we reasonably expect to compensate for the position. Furthermore, all compensation decisions are ultimately determined in accordance with our compensation philosophy. Compensation for positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by the agreements in the aforementioned document.
