The Content Creator will join the Marketing and Communications team, playing a pivotal role in fostering the growth of Tejano Center for Community Concerns (TCCC) and expanding the reach of Raul Yzaguirre Schools for Success (RYSS). This position is instrumental in elevating brand awareness through the development and support of content creation processes. The Content Creator will contribute to research efforts, manage content creation and publishing, and analyze stakeholder and content metrics. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the development of support materials for all organizational programs, including RYSS campuses/sites, across marketing and communications platforms.


Responsibilities

- Brand Development & Awareness:

 

Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to devise and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan aimed at enhancing the organization's brand.

 

- Data Analysis:

  • Track stakeholder and content analytics to ensure content relevance and appeal, generating reports and presentations.
  • Assist in developing content strategies to effectively reach target audiences and marketing goals based on research findings.

 

- Marketing & Special Events

  • Support the Marketing & Communications team by creating content for projects, including cause-related marketing and special events.
  • Integrate content creation into marketing events and campaigns to enhance public relations and organizational presence.
  • Develop and curate the bi-weekly Tejano Center Newsletter.

 

 

- Organizational Strategy:

  •  Act as internal consultants within the Marketing & Communications team to address institutional priorities related to content creation.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing and Communications in setting and achieving short- and long-term goals, objectives, and budgets for content creation strategies.
  • Implement systems and procedures for smooth content creation operations, including managing content calendars and ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Stay updated on content trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, arts, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.

- Minimum of three years of experience in content creation, graphic design, marketing, communications, or similar role.

- Portfolio showcasing published work.

- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), Adobe Suite, Canva, and related design tools.

- Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong leadership, motivational, and innovation skills.

- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and responding to crisis or natural disasters.
