SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Assistant will be to support and coordinate departmental and administrative needs for the Chief Marketing Officer of Kraft Sports + Entertainment. The individual will help manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing division, including prioritizing meetings/appointments, managing meeting logistics, preparing, and editing correspondence, onboarding new employees, communicating critical information and helping members of the Sports + Entertainment team acquire timely feedback to keep business initiatives moving forward. This individual will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative and sensitivity to confidentiality and will be a strong communicator and writer. The ideal candidate wants to learn about all facets of sports marketing and live events and is excited about the opportunity to be exposed to the business from the ground up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft and edit correspondence, notes, reports, marketing materials, copy points, newsletters, agendas, and meeting materials.
  • Create presentations for meetings and source information such as corporate bios to be used for meeting preparations.
  • Compile, edit and disseminate weekly company-wide Kraft Sports + Entertainment newsletter aimed at sharing information in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Prepare agenda, solicit presentation materials from executives, coordinate date/time and organize live/remote company- wide Business Review sessions.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, create presentations, schedule meetings including all needs (locations, food, presentation materials), coordinate travel, and enter data.
  • Liaison between Marketing Division and stadium events team to facilitate internal programming that promotes employee engagement and departmental initiatives.
  • Review and approve requests from third parties to utilize the New England Patriots logo for non-sponsorship purposes.
  • Prioritize external and internal meeting requests and adjust supervisor’s schedule appropriately.
  • Read industry trade publications and follow social media sites to surface relevant and timely news stories related to the company’s brands or key business trends.
  • Support members of the Marketing Division at special events held on-site and off-site.
  • Facilitate travel logistics (airfare, hotel accommodation, ground transportation) for both domestic and international.
  • Track new hire employee engagement initiatives for the Marketing Division, including onboarding and training programs.
  • Assist with vendor and guest relationships.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings tied to NFL programming and events.
  • Distribute information cross departmentally to the direct reports of senior management.
  • Maintain outstanding relationships with key internal parties to assist with integrated business operations.
  • Understand organization wide procedures, protocols and processes and ensure compliance and adherence. Work to ensure broader adherence amongst reporting departments.
  • Position may require some nights and weekends and a schedule will be set for working stadium ticketed events including New England Patriots games, New England Revolution matches and Gillette Stadium concerts.
  • Special Projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented with outstanding time management track record.
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive and inquisitive thinker who is resourceful and anticipates needs.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and change priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Power Point, & Photoshop.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Team player who is coachable and craves exposure to Marketing across all disciplines and live events.
  • Night and weekend availability as needed.
