Benicia client is in need of a temporary HR Assistant to support a busy HR department. This position will be between 30-40 hours a week depending on business needs.

Benicia client is in need of a temporary HR Assistant to support a busy HR department. This position will be between 30-40 hours a week depending on business needs.
Duties Include
- Perform administrative work, including answering calls, scheduling, maintaining files, and sorting mail for the Human Resources department daily, filing and scanning to legal if needed.
- I-9 file review add and remove monthly.
- Administered HR training.
- EE exit interviews and track/communication feedback.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and user guides.
- Track due dates of performance reviews for New Hires, including 30/60/90-day initial reviews.
- Filing /scanning files (bulk job) from files to PayCor/SharePoint
- Create letters and announcement emails as needed.
- Answering employee inquires
- Assist with creating the monthly newsletter for the HR department.- Initiatives
- EDD records new hires and terms weekly, and unemployment and disability all states.Perform administrative work, including answering calls, scheduling, maintaining files, and handling mail for the Human Resources department daily, filing and scanning to legal if needed.
Requirements
- Experience with HRIS reporting
- New Hire Orientations experience
- Employee Training experience
- HRIS experience
- I-9 Compliance experience
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
- Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
