Job Description

We are currently hiring for our next Tour Center & Taproom Marketing Co-op at our Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston, MA. This position is from July-December 2024.

What You'll Brew:

  • Create content for and track and analyze the success of social media
  • Assist in the development, marketing, and execution of Tour Center and Taproom programs at the Boston Brewery
  • Write copy for blog posts and newsletter
  • Assist with developing rental program through booking and coordinating private events and day-of execution
  • Manage internal and external tour requests and consumer relations
  • Update and maintain the tour center attendance database
  • Help track and analyze success of tour programs and events
  • Plan and execute onsite events to drive traffic to the Brewery, some taking place during evening hours and weekends
  • Support Taproom and Tour Center business on high-volume days, including conducting tours, tending bar, and retail tasks on a weekly basis
  • Maintain and develop new partnerships with local businesses, musician, artists
  • Support any other marketing initiatives and business needs for the Tour Center and Taproom

What Ingredients You’ll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program
  • Course work in Marketing, Management, Communication, Accounting, Finance, and Business Writing.
  • Must be 21+ years of age to apply
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute daily to Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA.

  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to be attentive to all aspects of the manufacturing environment while working
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
  • Ability to speak in front of 1-100 people at a time.
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States, now or in the future
