As a Billing and Promotions Specialis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping seamless and client-focused financial experiences. In this role, you will learn and share responsibility for the main aspects of the Advisory Billing and Promotion area, including Client Fee Promotions, Prorated Billing of Closing Accounts, Monthly Billing, and Termination Processing.

$53,200.00 - $73,150.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

As a Billing and Promotions Specialis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping seamless and client-focused financial experiences. In this role, you will learn and share responsibility for the main aspects of the Advisory Billing and Promotion area, including Client Fee Promotions, Prorated Billing of Closing Accounts, Monthly Billing, and Termination Processing.
What You Will Do
- Assist with the daily processing of prorated Advisory Management fees for accounts closing prior to the normal monthly fee being charged, ensuring fees are collected prior to accounts leaving Empower Personal Wealth.
- Share in the responsibility of ensuring the timely and accurate accounting of all monthly Advisory Management fees collected.
- Utilize Salesforce/Tableau to determine promotion eligibility for Empower Personal Wealth Personal Strategy clients. Research and apply promotions to all eligible clients for the Empower Personal Wealth Personal Strategy product.
- Serve as a contact for questions related to fee promotions process.
- Prepare and process the monthly billing files as needed, validating all accounts are charged accurately and appropriately, and will verify all Advisory Management fee exceptions due to promotions/other circumstances.
- Interact with internal business partners as well as communication via email and/or phone with customers may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial services operations preferred
- Moderate to advanced skills in Excel
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Working knowledge of Tableau
- Excellent operational, organizational and follow up skills
- Current knowledge of investment products and services
- Proven abilities to maintain appropriate policies & procedures for regulatory-driven requirements
- Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented and collaborative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
