Job Summary

Brinker is looking for a growth-minded Communications Specialist to join and help support our team to manage internal communications.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and a passion for effective communication. You will be responsible for sending weekly rollout communications using a template to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and initiatives. This is an opportunity to be part of an extremely collaborative, growth-oriented team who is creating cultural relevance, innovation and brand energy for the Brinker’s Brands.

Your Key Job Functions

• Sending weekly rollout comms using a template
• Sending and updating calendar invites to key stakeholder groups
• Updating and maintaining distribution lists, working with IT partners when necessary
• Monitoring the Chili’s Communications inbox by monitoring it daily and forwarding questions to the appropriate subject matter experts
• Support in the execution of Brinker awards submissions
• Creating and monitor various surveys distributed across Brinker Brands
• Weekly newsletter proofing
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field with 1-2 years of experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks like monitoring Chilis communications and ensuring any questions are being delegated to appropriate SME’s.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail & solution oriented to conduct weekly newsletter proofing.
• Monitor and analyze employee feedback and engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between management and employees, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback related to internal communication initiatives.
• Energized by culture. Whether it’s sport, pop or food culture, this person will be tuned in to what’s making headlines to help ensure brand relevance.
