Tech Reviews Media Analyst Assistant

CTG is seeking to fill a Tech Reviews Media Analyst Assistant opening for our client in Morrisville, NC.

Location: Morrisville, NC (Hybrid remote)

Duration: 12 months (Part-time, 24 hours/week)

Overview:

We have an immediate need for a Media Analyst Assistant Public Relations Assistant to join our team. The job is to support our Media Analysts who engage and execute technology reviews with key opinion leaders for the tech industry such as publications, websites, YouTubers, and bloggers. There are office hours are needed as part of a hybrid work environment. Have the ability and willingness to travel if the need arises.

Duties:

• General aspects of product PR.
• Gain knowledge and ability in company products and our marketing of them.
• Aiding in the writing of media pitches and reviewer guides.
• Develop an understanding of the process of engaging with our media targets.
• Build and keep set up relationships.
• Capture our results coverage and format it into our email-based newsletter.
• Analyzes the produced metrics in terms of appropriateness for the review.
• Document our results and upload them into the team database.
• Work with other company product marketing and PR teams on related projects.
• Support and manage press during the review process and manage any objections that may arise.
• Be competitively aware of industry competitor products.
• Prepares proper press product background information for briefings and interviews with company leaders.
• Review published Review results and compare them to our lab results.
• Collaborating with the overall team to develop and refine measurement strategies for product PR campaigns.

Skills:

• Proficient with productivity software such as Office 365, and/or Google Docs.
• Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
• Has keen sense of customer service.
• Good organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Levelheaded analytical person with a professional, service-oriented attitude.

Education:

• Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in PR, Communications, Tech-Journalism

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
