The New Business Manager & Marketing Manager serves as a prominent ambassador for Giant Spoon, amplifying the agency's presence across owned channels and supporting new business initiatives.


Responsibilities

New Business

  • Manage all incoming client-facing communications, responding to inquiries from the website and scheduling initial conversations.
  • Assemble background materials on prospective clients/brands to facilitate Leadership's preparation for calls.
  • Develop capabilities and credentials decks for new business opportunities.
  • Own weekly status documents outlining opportunities and timelines.
  • Attend new business calls with Leadership and distribute meeting notes/recaps.
  • Organize and manage assets, including the agency’s G-Drive and Vimeo channels.
  • Develop case studies, outlining the lifecycle of work from market entry to finalization, for credentials and website.
  • Manage Agency Profiles on third-party websites, keeping them updated with agency wins and case studies.
  • Assist VP, Business Development in preparing RFI/RFP submissions.
  • Collect standard response content, ensuring high-quality written and design materials are submitted on time.
  • Collaborate with VP, Business Development on new business pitches, including developing timelines and serving as a project manager.
  • Set up projects in internal systems and organize materials.
  • Support the delivery of final submissions within deadlines.
  • Scrub final documents to ensure compliance with client requirements.


Marketing

  • Oversee Giant Spoon’s social media presence on key platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X), including drafting copy, in collaboration with the VP, Communications & Marketing.
  • Manage the external-facing content calendar, ensuring alignment with communications goals set with VP, Communications & Marketing.
  • Project manage internal content development, collaborating with in-house creative and production teams across all social, website, and newsletter needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the monthly external newsletter
  • Develop and maintain new business databases for prospecting and agency contacts (Mailchimp).
  • Handle mailings and gifting for potential new business prospects.
  • Co-manage generation of social channel and newsletter performance reports for the Leadership team on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Ongoing management of website content in collaboration with VP of Marketing & Communications and VP, Business Development.
  • Project management of case reels/sizzles, including materials for annual awards submissions.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing advertising and marketing projects at an agency or brand, with a focus on content/social or overall communications.
  • Effective written, verbal, and visual communicator
  • Ability to craft internal / external presentations and present in an engaging way
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate creatively across departments and offices
  • Ability to foster trusting relationships with teammates and clients
  • Digitally connected, passionate about technology and innovation with an insatiable curiosity for how it applies to our industry
  • Genuine desire to learn
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack and Microsoft Office
  • Graphic design and deck design skills a plus


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000-85,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
