The ideal candidate would provide organizational and strategic support to the Business Development team tasked with generating revenue for Superfly Agency, Outside Lands festival, and other event sponsorships. The Business Development team works diligently to develop deep relationships and build trust with bold and creative companies and brands looking to create experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall Orchestration
    • Assist the Business Development team in managing the sales cycle including initial outreach and following up with necessary deliverables
    • Communicate with brand/client contacts to schedule calls/meetings
    • Manage process for the creation of team deliverables such as case studies and capabilities decks;
    • Drive with creative project management of agency pitch responses and proposals; create work back schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time across departments
    • Set up and attend client and internal meetings and distribute detailed, organized notes and clear next steps
    • Work with BD and Business Leadership teams to identify areas for organic growth on existing clients
    • Update and organize Copper CRM for all business development efforts

  • Prospect Research
    • Develop research to support overall business strategy, thought leadership pieces, and creative proposals
    • Distill large amounts of information into digestible formats (i.e. briefs, decks, backgrounders, etc.)
    • Prepare opportunity briefs for upcoming meetings which include pertinent research on brands and business landscapes; Identify business challenges and areas of opportunity for Superfly
    • Prepare sales materials including capabilities decks, case studies, etc
    • Monitor industry trades across key brands and categories to create weekly team research updates and identify new business opportunities
    • Build prospect lists and identify contact information for outreach and add to Copper CRM as appropriate
    • Utilize LinkedIn/LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify opportunities with brands and research contacts

  • Ongoing Responsibilities
    • Support overall Agency marketing efforts including:
      • External newsletter (SuperFun Times) content support & posting
      • Thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with the Innovation Team
      • Proactively identify and implement processes that can increase efficiency
    • Lead on the execution and distribution of Superfly’s internal BD Newsletter to keep the Agency up to date on industry news and current campaigns
  • Outside Lands
    • Support the Business Development team on monetizing Outside Lands and owned event properties as requested by Executive Leadership
    • Advance festival credential database requests for guests of the company, and act as an onsite liaison during Outside Lands
When it comes to deciding on compensation, there are several unique variables at play. A fair estimate for the current range would be in the range of $26-$31 an hour. This is currently a hybrid role.
