Compliance Analyst
Our major Fortune 150 Energy client is searching for a Compliance Analyst to join their team in the local Charlotte Area.
Enterprise Technology & Security Compliance Enablement (ETSCE) is within the client's IT organization. ETSCE’s vision is to support Compliance, Information Technology, Security and Tool initiatives by continuously looking for ways to improve, innovate and build meaningful relationships.
ETSCE is seeking an Analyst to support the IT503 Compliance Program based on the North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP) standards.
The candidate will also bring expertise and focus by executing processes to increase operational efficiency, serving as the Extent of Condition (EOC) coordinator for NERC CIP, and supporting ETSCE sub-teams during work cycle peaks for NERC CIP and other compliance
programs.
Responsibilities
· Competent in the use of IT and Cybersecurity policy, standards, processes, controls,
tools, and research capabilities
· Facilitate EOC analysis by liaising with Security Compliance and coordinating with five
ETSCE sub-teams to fulfill EOC obligations within established deadlines
· Effectively uses skills and experience to identify and improve processes to meet
regulatory compliance requirements
· Correlate compliance data to identify specific vulnerabilities and make
recommendations that enable appropriate and prompt remediation
· Identify and implement automation opportunities
· Collaborate with stakeholders to generate evidence that demonstrates compliance
NERC CIP, TSA, and SOX programs
· Perform internal consulting with business area personnel to ensure that they
understand, plan for, and implement compliance requirements
· Create, maintain, and present work management dashboards to ETSCE leadership
· Update ETSCE newsletter, draft, and publish team communications
· Provide support (training, change management, and communication) to sub-teams
when needed during work cycle peaks for compliance programs (NERC CIP, TSA, SOX)
· Other duties as assigned
