A SR Communications, Creative and Engagement Manager leads the Communications, Creative and Engagement strategies across the organization driving company initiatives. This role is part of the Human Resources and Communications team.

A SR Communications, Creative and Engagement Manager can be expected to perform the following tasks in this role as a routine part of their job:


Leads the development of the Communications, Creative and Engagement strategies anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with overall company strategy.

  • Develops long term and short-term strategies, objectives and plans for effective communications and creative initiatives.
  • Ensures communication and creative alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Oversees internal Communications strategy and Andrews’ Creative brand strategy through collaboration and guidance of internal stakeholders, project managers and external agencies and partners.
  • Communicates overall strategy and its relationship to the organizations mission, vision and values; clarifies the actions needed to implement it; motivates adoption to achieve the organizations business goals.
  • Gathers and reports on insights using data analytics to help inform strategic approaches and to measure the effectiveness of strategies ensuring defined objectives are met.
  • Partners with Leadership to support public relations in the development and implementation of all communications to include crisis management, legislative, regulatory and litigation communications.
  • Manages message development and builds relationships with third-party groups.
  • Provides regular counsel and insight to Leadership, subject-matter experts, and team members to develop complex effective Communications, Creative and Engagement strategies and tactics in support of enterprise strategic initiatives.


Oversees the development and delivery of the Company’s internal communications system and processes.

  • Leads overall Company Communications plan development and execution oversight for all stakeholders.
  • Drives the ideation, design and implementation of compelling communication plans, campaigns and messages across a variety of mediums that resonate with and engage desired audience to achieve desired business results.
  • Develops and manages annual departmental budget.
  • Oversees the day-to-day administration of team member intranet, BrewView. Includes evaluation and maintenance of platform, updating existing content, developing content for and designing pages to support organizational needs.
  • Leads and develops all executive communication support.
  • Manages the design integrity of all company communication platforms and intranet site.
  • Leads the creation of biannual company newsletter, Celebration. Including content development, design coordination and fulfillment/distribution.
  • Responsible for digital channel performance reporting; performance and effectiveness.


Oversees the development, management and delivery of the Company’s Creative initiatives, programs and processes.

  • Leads the Creative plan, complex design projects and processes (concept to completion) development and execution for all stakeholders to drive Company and brand alignment.
  • Develops long term and short-term objectives and plans for effective Creative projects, programs and initiatives.
  • Ensures Creative initiatives align with overall company standards and practices; ensures consistent style guides and standards are defined and maintained.
  • Manages internal and external creative resources to ensure work achieves project goals, meets the highest quality standards, and is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensures creative visual appeal and standards alignment for all Andrews’ creative projects by ensuring all copy and design is consistent with brand standards and communicates the desired message.


Leads the development of partnering relationships with leadership building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust ensuring internal stakeholders have access to high-quality advice, guidance and support.

  • Identifies and manages internal and external stakeholders understanding their needs, issues, and concerns; develops stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  • Guides the implementation of policy, design and implementation of projects and change initiatives.


Leads and directs the Communications and Creative teams in the production of all internal communications, product designs, marketing collateral and engagement programs.

  • Mentors, coaches and develops Communications and Creative team members.
  • Collaborates and connects with leadership to ensure team alignment with company initiatives and strategic direction.

This is what you must have to be considered for this role...

  • Eight Plus Years of Progressively Responsible Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Design or Other Related Field Experience; Preferably in the CPG Industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English or Other Related Field
  • Experience in Translating Business Objectives into Integrated Communication and/or Creative Strategies and Tactics that Drive Business Performance
  • Advanced Level Project Management and Collaboration Experience
  • Three Plus Years of Experience Leading Interdisciplinary Teams Through Strategy and Execution; Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Expert Knowledge of MS Office, AP Style and Social Media Monitoring and Responding

  • Professional Communications, Publications and/or Creative Portfolio
  • Fluency with Contemporary Social Media Platforms, Technologies and Trends
  • Demonstrated Ability to Use Hard Data and Metrics to Inform and Defend Strategic Recommendations
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and/or Other Related design and production software
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Previous Beer and/or Distribution Industry Experience
