Communications & Member Engagement Manager

• Develop and implement organization-wide, departmental, amenity, or project-specific communications plans, marketing tactics, and member engagement strategies.
• Maintain the department and Association brand management and communications calendars to ensure consistent and timely communication and marketing.
• Develop and manage the Communications and Member Engagement Departmental budget.
• Serve as the Association’s Public Information Officer in the event of a LOW emergency, and draft content for the GM to use when addressing the media.
• Prepare frequent written and occasional oral reports for the Board of Directors and Committees.
• Oversee and manage the Communications and Member Engagement workgroup. Hire and train staff. Develop goals, document performance, and provide feedback.
• Develop and Implement Key Performance Measures (KPIs) with assistance from the AGM.
• Manage, update, or create departmental Quality Management System policy and procedure documents, including job descriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service to advertisers, members, and content contributors.
• Attend meetings as required, including Board, Committee, Ops Manager, and Departmental
• Oversee all LOWA communications, marketing, and social media resources but not limited to: Lake Currents Newsletter, LOWA.org, Email Marketing & Communications, Text Messages, Digital Displays, social media, YouTube/TV18
