Job Description

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Internal Communications Specialist II will support the company's strategic priorities by employing a broad range of communication skills, including writing, editing, project and campaign planning, presentation creation, social media, still photography and videography to inform and engage internal and external stakeholders. The Specialist II will serve as a managing editor of company publications/communication channels, as well as provide support for special events and projects conducted by the Events team.

Job Duties

• Write and develop compelling communication content, messages, and stories that will inform and engage stakeholders.
• Serve as managing editor for internal communication channels, such as e-newsletter, intranet, blog, town halls, social media sites and other internal initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally to plan, coordinate and execute internal communication projects and campaigns that will inform and engage stakeholders, including employees and other audiences.
• Report and analyze data from communication projects, including surveys, campaigns, messages, social media, etc.
• Support the Events team, assisting on special events and philanthropic efforts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education And Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, English or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Two (2) years of communication experience required. Auto finance/financial services experience preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, a passion for words and an understanding of how tone and language selection can impact an audience.
• Versatility in producing creative, compelling content for various channels and audiences.
• Excellent collaboration, customer service and presentation skills.
• Able to work well under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $61,800 - $83,350

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
