AgState, a leading agricultural company, is looking to hire a marketing manager with outstanding organizational, communication, and digital media skills. This position is expected to be creative with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management.

 

To ensure success, the marketing manager should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

●       Develop strategic marketing initiatives.

●       Participates/leads high-level discussions regarding positioning, strategy and planning.

●       Protects and drives brand integrity in all aspects of AgState marketing and branding.

●       Maintains brand standards and tone across all communication channels and tools.

●       Lead internal teams on marketing initiatives and priorities.

●       Provide thought leadership to other departments in AgState as it relates to marketing or strategic priorities.

●       Impacts sales results by developing, supporting and executing field marketing and segment activities.

●       Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

●       Has knowledge and understanding of the agriculture industry.

●       Implement marketing plans that include print, segmented communication, and online content.

●       Support and partner with the lead marketing agency in coordinating and collating content.

●       Leads and directs all topics and articles for the newsletter and Eblasts by working with internal departments and industry topic experts.

●       Thorough review and proof-reading of all marketing content that gets published from AgState. Content must be high quality and accurate.

●       Monitor and schedule weekly posts for AgState social feeds.

●       Establish effectiveness and measurements for marketing campaigns and online activities.

●       Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities.

●       Traffic management of all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.

●       Develop and manage all internal communication systems.

●       Strong attention to detail.

●       Strong communication and people skills.

●       Good understanding of marketing principles.

●       Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

●       Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.

●       Good knowledge of market research techniques and using databases.

●       Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.

●       Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.

●       Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

●       Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids for management.

●       Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Adobe programs, Photoshop, and familiar with WordPress websites.

●       Ability to gather substantial amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.

●       Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

●       Valid Driver License

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

●       Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications and/or related field.

●       3 - 5 years of experience in marketing
