Job Opportunity
Are you passionate about social media and making a difference? We're looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. Reporting to the Director of Global Engagement, this role involves growing our audience and increasing engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
What You'll Gain

Familiarity with marketing, development, community engagement, donor relations, and NGO strategy development.
Experience using a variety of advocacy tactics.
Professional development support through informational interviews, resume feedback, networking opportunities, and access to meetings and events.
Position Requirements
We're seeking candidates who are currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students and are eager to gain hands-on experience within an international nonprofit organization. Key requirements include:
Ability to commit to a minimum of 10-hour workweeks for 10 weeks.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and other relevant computer programs.
Interest in the WASH nonprofit sector and a commitment to teamwork and professional etiquette.
Key Responsibilities
As a Social Media Intern, you'll be responsible for:
Shaping strategies to increase engagement on our social media platforms.
Creating engaging social media posts.
Interacting with key partners to foster collaboration.
Increasing awareness of our company goals and mission.
Collaborating on initiatives like launching a LinkedIn newsletter.
Meeting all work assignment deadlines.
