Creator/Trending Content Manager

Playboy is seeking a talented and motivated Creator Content Manager to join our team who will be responsible for creating compelling and informative content that drives revenue and engages our audience, helping to grow the newsletter portfolio as a successful vehicle for content distribution, pageviews, audience development, and revenue, and helping to guide overall content strategy across all partner platforms. You will collaborate closely with our editorial, social, creator and marketing teams to develop content strategies that support our business goals and enhance the overall commerce experience for our customers.

What You’ll Do - Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities and essential functions for this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage content distribution and newsletter strategy to drive traffic and revenue
• Contribute creative ideas for content initiatives, partnerships, and marketing campaigns to drive audience growth and engagement.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and drive sales.
• Help Commerce Manager report on monthly KPIs
• Research and identify trending products, brands, and shopping trends that resonate with the Playboy shopper
• Source and create commerce/conversion driving content in partnership with Playboy’s extensive network of influencers and creators to generate engagement and revenue opportunities across all distribution channels
• Generate and facilitate new ideas for creative and innovative newsletter formats and audience experiences by experimenting with AI technology
• Create original articles tied to broader trending and culturally relevant topics as needed
• Use SEO standards to integrate affiliate links and promotional content into articles while maintaining editorial integrity.
• Collaborate with our editorial team to develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of high-quality articles.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice, and tone.
• Assist in the development of editorial guidelines and processes to streamline content production and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, SEO specialists, and social media managers, to enhance the visibility and impact of commerce content across multiple channels.
  
  

What You’ll Bring - Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience writing commerce-related content, preferably for e-commerce websites, digital publications, or marketing agencies.
• Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly learn about new products and industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to base content decisions on informed data supported evidence
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work under deadline and flexible schedules as needed to meet business objectives
• Proficiency in SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines.
• Experience with affiliate marketing and knowledge of FTC guidelines.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS, Semrush, and Yoast.)
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and consumer trends.
• Able to work flexible hours based on business needs

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $90-$110K annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
