Email Marketing Specialist

Our client, an association in DC, is seeking a Freelance Email Marketing Specialist to join them for 37.50 hours per week for an estimated 12 weeks with possible extension

This position is 5 days a week onsite

Responsibilities

• Email creative and production skills: generate email copy (from templates) for assigned journals, and coordinate email production with internal coordinator and outside vendor.
• Mail list creation and analysis skills: Generate email list targets from an internal database or external list vendor. Analyze results and utilize predictive behavior techniques to assist with future email list development and email copy tactics.
• Compile monthly email and/or social media campaign analytics and present to stakeholders in Excel.
• Draft copy for publishing content in newsletter or short announcements.
• Design coordination/oversight skills: manage the design of various print or electronic design projects for web, social media, emails, etc. Coordinate with internal designer and/or external vendor for new digital marketing campaigns to be rolled out.
  
  

Requirements

• Intermediate Microsoft Office stills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). For Excel, experience with entering/sorting data and using basic formulas.
• Experience with setting up email campaigns, coordinating traffic of creative projects for print and digital
• Experience with HootSuite.
• Strong detail skills to assist with entering data into documents, reviewing analytics, proofing emails, etc.
• Basic familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop.
