Intern, Digital Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Use organic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve authority and page rankings of the Altair Global website
• Promote and optimize key messages through paid search in global markets
• Research and write blog articles for the Altair Global website, with topics ranging from company events and industry news to thought leadership relevant to our global mobility audience
• Leverage AI tools to bring efficiency to content creation
• Contribute to development of new and/or updated landing pages on the Altair Global website, bringing a modern look-and-feel and enhanced messaging
• Assist with production of newsletter email blasts showcasing new content to our 9,000 global subscribers, using HubSpot marketing platform
• Help ensure accuracy and cleanliness of email marketing subscriber lists
• Assist with reporting and analytics in the department’s marketing dashboard to measure performance
• Support MarCom colleagues such as Social Media Manager, Art Director, Manager of Marketing & Communications, and Proposal Managers as needed

• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative

This is a paid internship, with an approximate hourly pay rate between $20.00 and $22.00. Interns will work a hybrid schedule, consisting of a minimum of two days per week in-office at Altair’s Frisco headquarters, and the other days from home. Each workday will be eight hours total, regardless of the work location for the day. Please note that Altair will be reviewing its hybrid work policies this summer, which may result in the minimum number of in-office days increasing. We require the following criteria for our Interns: Must be a Junior/Senior level Undergraduate in good standing, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, or at any level of a master's program.  Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related degrees preferred.

• 3.25 GPA level or higher (verifiable)
• Must be available June - August 2024
• Enthusiastic self-starter, with a “go-getter” attitude who proactively takes on new tasks
• Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Portfolio of work strongly preferred

WORK/PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Office setting and/or home office work environment. Intern must be able to operate standard office equipment.  Intern spends substantial amount of time working on the computer and working under deadlines.
