Front Office Sports is looking for a Social Media Intern to work across our social team in support of new social initiatives. This hire will have the exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating engaging and dynamic social media content that brings the excitement of sports to our audience and beyond. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a sophisticated visual style, flexibility, and a compelling portfolio.

The FOS Summer Internship Program is designed to provide undergraduate students in their final year of coursework with a comprehensive learning experience in the fast-paced world of sports media. Interns will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into various aspects of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the social team to enhance Front Office Sports content across social platforms.
• Create compelling and shareable content for our social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. This may include short-form videos, memes, graphics, polls, and other multimedia content designed to entertain and inform our audience.
• Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of our content. Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and drive continuous improvement.
• Interact with our followers on social media, fostering meaningful connections and building brand loyalty. Monitor trends, join conversations, and amplify user-generated content to enhance our online community.
• Partner with social and creative teams to elevate Front Office Sports content across all social channels.
• Craft engaging visuals and content tailored for social platforms.
• Manage multiple social platforms simultaneously, engaging with audiences in real time through daily posts and stories.
  
  

Ideal Skills And Qualifications

• Currently a rising Senior pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Media Studies).
• Passion for sports, a knack for crafting media-leading posts, and solid knowledge of daily sports headlines and their cultural and business impact.
• Sharp editorial and photographic eye for creating compelling posts that convey the intended tone and message.
• Comfortable with copywriting and asset production in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
• Proficient in researching storylines and delivering polished final products.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively, taking direction, and implementing feedback.
• Bonus: Previous experience overseeing large social media accounts on a day-to-day basis.
