Our client is a banking trade association that provides training and educational programs, information products, professional certifications, and technical services to its members. Members turn to our client for tools and insights they need to succeed. Many of their resources are free and include online discussion groups, webinars, references, and guides, online courses and more. They are currently seeking a Program Manager, Emerging Leaders Initiative to join their team.


This position will support the Emerging Leaders Initiative aimed at building our network and growing engagement with the next generation of banking leaders.


The Emerging Leaders Initiative focuses on attracting, developing, and building relationships with these emerging leaders to ensure a strong future membership and industry at large.


This position will support the Emerging Leaders Council, Peer Group, Forum, and Awards Program and other emerging leaders-focused programs and events through marketing, communications, logistics, and administrative support. This position will also provide administration and logistic support for the State Association Alliance team.


Support the Emerging Leaders Program:

  • Work with SVP and Sr. Director and Emerging Leader Council leadership to schedule and arrange meetings and video calls.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Council Members, serving as a resource and point of contact.
  • Support planning and coordination of logistics for Emerging Leaders Council meetings in connection with Annual Convention, Washington Summit, and other virtual monthly meetings.
  • Support the planning and coordination of logistics for the annual Emerging Leaders Forum.
  • Support the planning and coordination of logistics for additional emerging leading events in connection with Annual Convention, Conference for Community Bankers, Risk and Compliance Conference, and Agricultural Bankers conferences.
  • Responsible for managing content on the Emerging Leaders Council Microsoft Team.
  • Coordinate the assembly of meeting materials for distribution to Council Members and attending Staff.
  • Coordinate Emerging Leaders Peer Group marketing, communications (newsletter), and virtual programs.
  • Manage and update content for the Emerging Leaders website.
  • Manage and update the Emerging Leader Peer Group database.
  • Maintain the database of current State Association Emerging Leader Programs, conferences, and dates.
  • Coordinate State Alliance peer group meetings.


Supports other State Alliance Team programs:

  • Provide support for the State Association Washington fly-ins.
  • Support additional State Association alliance meetings including state executives. workshop, state issues summit, alliance advocacy workshop, and Washington Summit.
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed for the team.
  • Other duties as assigned by business needs.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, or related field preferred or commensurate experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Program Coordination, Event, or Logistics support that includes strong writing components required.
  • Trade Association experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and shift priorities while maintaining a high quality. Experience interfacing with external clients, members, or customers is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management required.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated proactive approach.
  • Exhibits a problem-solving attitude in handling member inquiries.
  • Ability to successfully work independently and well as within a team.
  • Strong technical skills, including webinar management. Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and other Office 365 programs.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with C-level executives and executive staff.
  • Strong judgment and discretion are required for daily communications with key stakeholders.
