March Capital is seeking a Marketing Assistant who will be an outstanding addition to our platform and marketing team. As a Marketing Assistant primarily supporting The Montgomery Summit, the firm’s largest platform initiative, you will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to execute events that attract some of the most influential leaders in the technology and investment world. An ideal candidate has the curiosity to take on new projects, with the organizational skills to execute under pressure. Responsibilities

Communications and Marketing Support

• Assist with the development of clear, effective messaging for use in all community-facing materials

• Aid with the development and distribution of Summit newsletter

• Work with the marketing team to identify engaging videos, highlights, blogs, and relevant stories to share with the Summit community

• Monitor external company nominations received via website Summit network

• Support daily communication with speakers, including collection of registration materials

• Contribute to the creation and updating of Summit communications and website content

• Support the registration process for Summit attendees to achieve revenue targets, including identifying prospective attendees and validating conference invitees

• Manage day-to-day correspondence with community members, including handling general queries efficiently

Production Support

• Assist the Event Manager in the event production tasks, including tracking and arranging accommodations for VIP guests, as well as sourcing and securing venues for private events

• Help maintain technology platforms including registration and networking platform/mobile app

• Support Summit-sponsored receptions including Getty Villa and closing reception at The Bungalow

• Oversee on-site registration check-in, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus in business, marketing, hospitality, or other relevant major

• 0-2 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, events, startups, or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required o Knowledge of Cvent, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva are a plus

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professionalism and confidentiality, this position requires frequent contact with CEOs and their internal teams

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with the capability for problem-solving and meeting deadlines with attention to detail

• Team player with the capacity to work independently when needed
