Who We’re Looking For

Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager. Our ideal candidate excels at crafting compelling narratives and then translating them into thoughtful integrated campaigns. The person in this role will lead our marketing strategies, oversee customer experience and test exploratory channels, all while optimizing a marketing budget in alignment with company objectives. This is a supervisory position, reporting to the SVP of Marketing and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create branded content for our website, eCommerce store, newsletter and email flows, promotional materials, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and strategize marketing materials and campaigns targeting industry partners, retail network, and end consumers.
  • Maintain brand voice and aesthetic for external communications and creative campaigns. Identify and maintain an aesthetic direction for all branded materials including photography, printed materials, signage, packaging, website graphics and social posts.
  • Strategize and grow social media following within consumer, industry, and investor groups. Work collaboratively with the team to develop strategies and tactics to boost brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive qualified traffic.
  • Develop relationships with influencers and industry media channels. Manage partnership programs to authentically maximize brand exposure.
  • Plan and execute new product launches and marketing campaigns. Includes writing and publishing press releases, blog posts, social media campaigns, product asset packets for retail partners, and launching products on the eCommerce site.
  • Track and report on company KPIs, industry trends, and new opportunities. Research and understand the competitive landscape and report back to sales and product development teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize analytics tools to monitor and assess the performance of digital initiatives. Provide data-driven recommendations for enhancement.
  • Manage and optimize budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources. Manage budget per campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong ROI and maintain efficient spend.
  • Work with client services, sales, and the executive team to plan strategy and deliverables for trade shows and events.
  • Suggest workflow and process improvements.
  • Will supervise a team employees supporting digital content creation and deliverables.
  • Will assist in developing the organizational structure of the digital content team, including number of employees to be hired.
  • Travel: 0-10%


Requirements or equivalent experience

  • Strong digital marketing experience, with an emphasis on content development
  • Ability to manage product launch and brand campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience with digital marketing initiatives and tools
  • Strong copywriting and brand messaging skills
  • Email marketing experience (Klaviyo or similar)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deliverables at a given time
  • Ability to coordinate and manage both internal and external resources
  • Experienced with project management software (Basecamp or similar)
  • Highly proficient with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with remote conferencing
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • Can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment


Preferred experience

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • eCommerce experience
  • Experience with Wordpress admin and maintenance
  • Event and tradeshow experience

Salary and benefits

  • $90,000-105,000 DOE
  • PTO and holiday pay
