Digital Asset Maintenance Internship
The Digital Asset Maintenance Internship is a part-time position in the Marketing Department reporting to Marketing & PR Manager that provides assistance in the day to day operation of the department – planning, developing and executing the creation of social media content, digital asset development, video and photo library management, in-park signage and flyers, as well as support of special events, media relations and community relations.

- Review, organize and edit digital assets for the department
- Help to execute social media content calendar and produce content for on-time delivery
- Work with supervisory team to create (write, produce, shoot, edit) video content for social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Collaborate with various internal park departments to determine important assets for social campaigns
- Execution of daily editing, post-production tasks, and web deliverables to meet required deadlines
- Monitor social media and help track campaign effectiveness
- Assist with creative and content development for the SFGA website, newsletter, in-park signage and flyers as necessary
- Assist with park photo, b-roll shoots and media openings or events
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills while working in a demanding, ever changing and potentially stressful environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willing to interact with guests
- Set high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities
- Comply with Six Flags handbook policies at all times
- Maintain proper attendance and timeliness
- Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications and Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere.
- Command of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok etc.
- Pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation with limited supervision
- Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator
- Previous public relations, marketing, communications, event planning or customer service experience a plus
- Required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive park vehicles on & off property
- Comfortable working in a mixed office/outside in the park environment. Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to forty pounds.
