We are a startup game studio looking for a Community Manager to engage our community and help with our social media. Kintsugi Interactive holds values of creating meaningful experiences and emotionally challenging our players to be better human beings. Although our current compensation structure is only profit-share, we support our contractors with a positive and empowering work environment.

Qualifications

• Loves the process of game development and engaging in gamer culture
• Experience in Marketing
• Really into physics based puzzle games
• Previous experience running social media campaigns
• Previous experience blogging
• Enthusiast for mindfulness practices and assumes an attitude of curiosity to social conflicts
• Previous experience editing and deploying video to YouTube, TikTok
• A gaming professional who thinks Onward was an underrated movie and Nimona was snubbed at the Oscars

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in anthropology or sociology
• Veteran Conference Associate from the Game Developers Conference

Responsibilities

• Runs monthly Kintsugi Discord Activities/online Gaming meet ups to engage our community..
• Maintains a calendar of monthly events and social media tasks.
• Admins and appoints volunteer moderators for the consumer facing Discord Channels.
• Maintains a monthly newsletter for the progress of Icopult.
• Maintains TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram social media accounts.
• Attends weekly heartbeat meetings and monthly production meetings.
• Compiles, edits, and publishes video for the dev log.
• Maintains a calendar for scheduled social media posts or account that automates these posts
