Waahe Capital is seeking a Portfolio Leasing Manager to join our property management team. As a Leasing Manager, you will oversee all aspects of leasing and marketing of all the properties. The Leasing Manager will set leasing goals and develop a strategic marketing plan for achieving planned occupancy. The Leasing Manager is responsible for effectively hiring and leading the leasing team for effective leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meet occupancy goals for all the communities by motivating, engaging, and inspiring the property management team to exceed expectations
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of local market and conditions and assist in developing marketing plans that incorporate advertising, internet, outreach marketing and referrals to increase visibility of the communities
  • Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Develop and implement resident retention programs (i.e., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.)
  • Develop and Implement all marketing efforts and outreach, developing campaigns and assisting with design to generate traffic
  • Monitor leasing/renewal progress, focusing on areas needing additional support
  • Supervise the planning, preparation, and implementation of all leasing and renewal events as approved by the management
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition as well as market conditions; complete weekly market survey report
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve budgeted occupancy
  • Assist the management in use of consistent techniques & company directives to screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
  • Ensure staff compliance and consistency with Company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience managing One-Site or other similar property management software
