Lead CareGiver
The Lead CAREGiver role encompasses all responsibilities outlined in the CAREGiver job description, in addition to supporting key functions crucial to the success of the team. These additional tasks may include CAREGiver engagement activities, training, managing inquiries from CAREGivers and clients, and providing client care support.
Essential Job Functions
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Essential Job Functions
- Execute all duties outlined in the CAREGiver job description as required.
- Maintain availability for on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
- Engage in CAREGiver engagement activities, such as:
- Conducting CAREGiver Touchpoint Calls.
- Facilitating meaningful participation and connections at CAREGiver meetings/events.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of CAREGiver meetings.
- Contributing to the monthly newsletter.
- Participating in CAREGiver Focus Groups and providing support.
- Serving as a resource and mentor for fellow CAREGivers.
- Celebrating CAREGiver milestones.
- Participate in CAREGiver training activities, including:
- Assisting in new CAREGiver orientation.
- Encouraging and reminding CAREGivers to attend training classes.
- Providing personal skills training for CAREGivers in clients’ homes as needed.
- Shadowing opportunities for new CAREGivers.
- Offering feedback to key players regarding new CAREGiver progress and needs.
- Conducting CAREGiver Intros and Outros as necessary using the Client/CAREGiver Introduction checklist.
- Manage CAREGiver and client inquiries by:
- Responding to all inquiries received in the franchise office.
- Redirecting relevant inquiries to the appropriate key player.
- Provide client care support, including:
- Contacting new clients to ensure quality care per the client care team's directives.
- Communicating changes in client condition to the client care team.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- A genuine passion for supporting fellow CAREGivers through engagement and training initiatives.
- Dedication to providing exceptional support to clients through handling inquiries and delivering quality care visits.
- Possesses a professional and courteous phone manner.
- Completion of all required training via the designated online learning platform endorsed by the franchise office.
- Active participation in company-sponsored training sessions and social events, including CAREGiver meetings.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with CAREGivers and clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
