Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at Plant Development Services Inc. As a Marketing Intern, you will assist in various tasks to support our marketing efforts and enhance our online presence. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and within the horticulture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in updating web content for our six brand web sites.
Manage email newsletter audiences and create email newsletters.
Assist with content management to improve on-site SEO.
Plan and post social media content.
Update retailer locators to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
Monitor and communicate trends for our key audiences.
Assist with photography/video production and organization.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with social media platforms.
Basic understanding of SEO principles.
Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Passion for plants and horticulture is a plus.
