Summary

Overall responsibility: We have an immediate need for a Media Analyst Assistant Public Relations Assistant to join our team. The job is administrative support for the Communications Director and our Media Analysts with data entry tasks, organizing information, building reports, and developing presentations. The position is remote with a once-a-month commitment to office hours. Consistent days of work schedule is required. There might be an occasional request for travel.

Key areas of responsibility are to support our Media Analyst and related technical lab team in the following areas:

  • Find and capture our media results coverage and format it into our email-template newsletter.
  • Document our results and upload them into the team database. (Data entry)
  • Updating Media Outlet audience database numbers and managing contacts.
  • Build reports from data sources: pulling metrics on an event, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Assist on inputting Media Requests and Inventory Management.
  • Prepares appropriate press product background information for briefings and interviews with Lenovo leaders.
  • Ability to be flexible on schedule and work additional hours for workloads around our annual activities.
  • Work with other Lenovo product marketing and PR teams on related projects as needed.
  • Collaborating with the overall team to develop and refine measurement strategies for product PR campaigns.

General Qualifications

  • Education: BS or equivalent experience
  • Can be recent graduate or someone that has had a job using the software described
  • Proficient with productivity software such as Office 365, and or Google Docs. (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe)
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Superb organizational and tracking skills with diligence.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • level-headed problem solver with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
  • Adaptable, dependable, and responsible.
