Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid - Office on Mon-Wed, Remote on Thu-Fri)

Duration: Summer Internship with potential to extend

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

About Us:

AE Ventures, Inc. launched a new website, BuilderInnovator.com in 2023. Using 20+ years of industry knowledge and our expert presentations at the TecHome Builder Summit and Housing Transformation Summit, BuilderInnovator.com is already the premier information resource for innovative homebuilders and multifamily property developers and operators. We are excited to offer a dynamic internship opportunity for a budding business, journalism, communications or English major who can work with industry contributors, our company president and other content staff to develop long-form written content like whitepapers, case studies, special reports and process and applications guides.

The Role:

As our Content Creator Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape and contribute to our expanding content landscape. Your primary role will include:

·        Transforming the editorial topics from our abundant video content (nearly 100 new pieces yearly) into engaging blog posts or whitepapers.

o  Determining opportunities to expand topics through research as appropriate.

o  Playing a crucial part in our content strategy, especially in converting our video insights into compelling written narratives.

·        Work with our team to identify trending topics in the industry to do independent research for unique blogs and reports. Topics would be looking for inclusion in our weekly newsletter and social media posts.

·        Updating, enriching, and revising our long-form guides and industry reports in collaboration with our company president.

o  Potential to develop new pieces of long-form content.

Who You Are:

·        Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Journalism, Communications or English, ideally in your Sophomore or Junior year.

·        Have a flair and passion for writing, particularly in a business-to-business (B2B) context, and can adapt complex topics into readable, engaging formats.

·        Eager to immerse yourself in the homebuilding and technology industries and contribute meaningfully to a niche yet significant field.

·        Able to commit to a hybrid working model, with 3 days at our Boston office and the option for remote work on Thursdays and Fridays through the summer.

·        Prior experience in writing for a B2B channel is preferred but not mandatory.
