Responsibilities

  • Develop, Disseminate, and monitor press releases about industry, members, and TCA programs.
  • Manage and develop marketing, advertising, and communication efforts to promote TCA initiatives with members and prospective members.
  • Develop and execute TCA branding initiatives to members, associates, state, and government related stakeholders (advocacy).
  • Direct the Associations to include TCA media (Website, social media, podcasts, Truckload Authority Magazine, and newsletter.
  • Continuously evaluate and report on the effectiveness of strategies, materials, services, benefits and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualification and Skills

  • Associates degree with concentration in marketing and communication.
  • Organized self-starter capable of making independent decisions.
  • Accurate, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Work with and across functions (education, membership, and meetings) to develop and maintain a collaborative team effort.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have knowledge of social media platforms, Google Adwords, Informz, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems (MemberSuite), and the ability to utilize and interpret data to gain actionable insights
