Sr. Program Manager (4911)

As a Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a program focused on the migration of various applications and portfolio applications from their current environments to AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP cloud platforms hosted in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. You will be leading a cross-functional team and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a migration plan for multiple applications, taking into consideration technical requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Establish clear project goals and communicate them to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the application owners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure all migration requirements are met, and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Lead and manage the project team, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality.
  • Manage project risks and issues, identifying potential obstacles, and developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a project communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Monitor project performance against established metrics and report progress to senior management.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale application migration projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration, infrastructure, and security concepts on major Cloud Service Providers (Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Services, Oracle Cloud).
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Minimal Project Management Professional (PFP) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and equivalent years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance OR ability to obtain.
