About the Role

Wirecutter is seeking an Audience Coordinator to help grow and engage our audience through editorial newsletters. Wirecutter’s newsletters aim to delight and inform, providing readers with everything from shopping advice to cleaning advice and the best deals on Wirecutter-approved picks.

As the audience coordinator, you will report to the Deputy Director of Newsletters and Programming and assist with the production and planning of newsletters, including coordinating the newsletter promotion calendar, working with Wirecutter’s editorial and production team to deliver newsletters, and curating and scheduling newsletters for our audience. You will have the potential to be remote.

Responsibilities


  • Support production of Wirecutter newsletters from ideation to delivery and strategic growth
  • Help identify content that will engage more readers through email
  • Work with Wirecutter’s newsletter strategists to assign and produce newsletters
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure newsletters seamlessly go through the editing and production process
  • Load, QA, and schedule newsletters
  • Support the launch or redesign of new Wirecutter newsletters
  • Help document and refine Wirecutter’s newsletter workflow
  • Help identify new and updated content for promotion across platforms outside of email
  • Assist with scheduling promotion of high-performing content across other platforms, including Wirecutter’s homepage
  • Perform related work as assigned


Basic Qualifications


  • 1+ years in a role focused on writing, editing, and curating editorial newsletters
  • Excellent editorial judgment, with experience writing, editing, engaging, and growing audiences
  • Experience with major email service providers
  • Familiarity with analytics and insights platform

The annual base pay range for this role is between $76,500.00 and $90,000.00.
