Public Relations & Social Media Intern

Groot PR, a female owned, boutique PR agency is looking for 2 Public Relations interns and 2 social media interns starting May 20!

Public Relations Internship will include:

• Create content and write for a weekly newsletter
• Create content for press releases
• Create media lists per music genre
• Writing press releases and media emails
• Finding press & media outlets + contacts, adding to excel sheet
• Finding new clients & adding to excel sheet
• Other tasks as they come up!

Social Media Internship:

• Posting daily to clients socials, such as: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook
• Creating content for the week ahead for clients
• Posting to Groot PR socials, such as: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook
• Creating content for the week ahead for Groot PR
• Creating a social media calendar for you to follow
• Creating a social media calendar for Groot PR CEO to follow
• Gain larger social media audience
• Come up with any and all fun social media ideas!

We're open to new things!!

• TikTok, Instagram, Canva, Excel/Sheets & Facebook sufficiency is required.

Would be amazing if you know how to track analytics!!

This will be 3 days a week, 5 hours a day. (Social Media intern must post daily)

This is an in-person internship with some days / weeks remote as I travel for work.

Looking for someone who has an outgoing, fun, and open personality. Must know all up & coming social media trends!

During the time of your internship you will also be working on a PR project & help at events where needed!

This is an unpaid internship and for college credit only.
