Assistant Marketing Manager

OAV is seeking an experienced candidate to help execute and support the company's overall marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who can handle multiple deadlines and has excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and help plan marketing calendars of all current and future marketing campaigns.
  • Research and develop new content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, monthly newsletters, and email campaigns.
  • Write and edit supporting sales materials including emails, presentations, blog posts, newsletter articles.
  • Responsible for all aspects of trade shows logistics.
  • Update marketing materials to be used across various media platforms. These include but are not limited to collateral, presentations, brochures, educational webinars, product sheets, case studies, business cards, web content, newsletters, advertisements, trade show booths, and sales tools.
  • Plan meetings, events, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, as well as establish contacts, develop schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Manage webinar support functions.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Manage reporting for sales channel including sales pipelines, contract administration and sales activities.
  • Support internal communication activities, including sharing marketing activities and project successes with employees and sales channels.
  • Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, maintain contact lists and initiate new ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects while being on top of strict timelines.
  • Promote company and products through social media.
  • Other marketing support activities as required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Content writing is an important skill necessary for this position.
  • Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and think outside of the box.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of content marketing, SEO, social networking, email marketing, and CRM.
  • Excellent command of English, spoken and written.
  • Strong initiative, follow-through and attention to detail.
  • The ability to be an active team player.
