As the Head of People at Front Office Sports, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our organizational culture and driving the success of our teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the Front Office Sports people operations function including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Lead efforts to attract, onboard, and retain top and culturally diverse talent.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies to support business growth and objectives.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote employee well-being and work-life balance.
  • In concert with people managers, oversee HR and company wide KPI metrics to measure the effectiveness of the company by department and identify areas for improvement or reward/recognition.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices and proactively recommend and implement changes to enhance the HR function and FOS as a whole.
  • Steward the cultural values and company ethos set by FOS founders and leadership team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters.
  • Build relationships and rapport with business leaders to strategically influence and provide expert-level consultation and solutions.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the organization's objectives and how HR can support them.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency in leading organizational change initiatives and managing transitions, fostering a culture of agility and adaptability.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive work culture, driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Strong skills in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, including effective recruitment strategies, talent assessment, succession planning, and career development programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Proficiency in performance analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of company initiatives and growth areas, identify trends and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to align HR strategies with broader business objectives and demonstrate the value of HR to the organization's bottom line.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, and drive results through effective delegation and empowerment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HR and talent management.
