How you’ll contribute to our mission

  • Oversee all aspects of P&L planning, estimation, and reporting, including support for the general ledger, consolidation, managing financial and operational reports, cash flow projections, and analyzing financial variances for quarterly closes and annual budget cycles.
  • Lead and develop comprehensive trending and strategic analyses to drive business insights and decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders across Sales, Commerce, Growth Marketing, Product/Engineering, and People to monitor financials, manage variance analysis, and report critical financial performance, OKRs, and key metrics to the CFO.
  • Proactively take initiative to simplify, automate, and standardize processes across all operational areas, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to executive presentations for co-CEOs and the Board, providing ad hoc analyses that offer deep insights into business operations and financial performance.
  • Assist with operational responsibilities, including annual insurance renewals, advertising operations, and legal compliance.
  • Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering professional growth and departmental excellence.

You’re ready for this! Here’s a bit more about what we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in FP&A or accounting, with advanced financial modeling expertise.
  • Exceptional analytical and process-oriented thinking, with strong forecasting and planning abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively presenting to various organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in thriving within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Independent self-starter with the initiative to tackle challenging situations.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working autonomously and as part of a cohesive unit.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic, demanding setting.
  • Performs effectively under pressure.
  • Experienced in handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets and Slides).
  • Experience in Oracle Hyperion, required.
  • Experience in QuickBooks and NetSuite, preferred.

This role's expected annual salary is $140,000-$155,000. We’ll consider various factors when determining the offered base salary, including evaluating a candidate’s skills, abilities, experience, location, market demands, and internal parity.

About the office

This is a full-time role based in New York, NY with flexibility for remote work. 

Our office is available to use three days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have a hybrid environment and ask that employees within the New York Metro area come together in person a minimum of three days per month. All other days are up to the discretion of the employees during the three days a week that the office will be open.
