Akkodis is seeking a content Manager for a client in NY, NY, This is a short term 2 months contract,possible to extend.


Pay rate is $50-53/HR on W2



ABOUT THE ROLE:



  • looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to join our Global Integrated MarComs team in New York as a Content Manager.
  • Global Integrated MarComs team is responsible for developing and delivering communications strategies that advance offering -- its products, value and vision -- among the business community.
  • manage all global business marketing communications channels. Our focus is on impact, positioning and consistency for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated experience for businesses.
  • responsibilities include writing, editing, and managing content for our external-facing owned channels including blog, newsletter, case studies, and web pages. You will also strategically manage our web content in line with best practices, review and update legacy content, and set guidelines for global CMS end-users to ensure brand consistency

Skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years proven experience in editorial and content marketing roles; preferably in technology, media or advertising
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various channels and formats; strong technical writing skills and prior experience writing about technology
  • Expertise in digital content production, publishing and distribution; knowledge of digital content best practices including SEO; experience with CMS and CRM systems including Hubspot and Contentful
  • Analytical mindset; able to uncover patterns and distill complex data into actionable insights
  • Self-motivated and agile, with excellent organizational and project management skills; able to quickly pivot strategy in response to evolving business needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business goals
  • Proficiency in Figma, Canva, Photoshop, and other related applications a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy
  • Develop and execute global content strategy aligned with organization's objectives and target audience
  • Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with product, sales and other teams to ensure content aligns with overall business goals
  • Define content KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives.
  • Content Planning
  • Plan and prioritize content calendars across various platforms and channels
  • Coordinate with writers, designers, and other contributors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities based on audience insights and keyword research
  • Manage editorial workflows and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards
  • Content creation
  • Write, edit, and proofread various types of content, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, emails, and website copy
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX)
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all content
  • Content governance
  • Develop and maintain content guidelines, standards, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright and data privacy
  • Conduct content audits to assess quality, relevance, and effectiveness Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing
  • Social
  • Support the Social Media team on creating copy for social posts across owned channels -, Linkedin and Instagram - following brand tone of voice
